My Russian Orthodox grandfather recommended this book to me, and I'm glad that he did. So many books on saints in any tradition spend at least part of the book trying to convince the reader of what the saint meant by this action or that saying. This book largely avoids that and lets St. Seraphim's life speak for itself. Anyone interested in Christian Orthodoxy, or the lives of saints, should give this one a whirl.
A captivating narrative, chocked full of heart-warming stories which perfectly paint a picture of the genuine warmth and holiness of this saint. Lay aside all of your earthly cares, and dive into this one to see for yourself. Simply a fantastic read! Nothing more needs to be said.
