Anyone with animal friends knows that animals are all about body language and creaturely communion. We really become a part of their family as they become a part of ours. This poignant tribute to two horses is for those who have ever lost a beloved animal friend. It is a story of love, grief, and acceptance, with photographs that speak silently of the heart connection between the writer and two horses she shared so much with.

This is my most recent and best book. I believe the fact that it is my first book with a real point that makes it my best. The point is that I eventually had to put Belly and her best horse friend to sleep. I explain why and how. Seriously, I'd like to see this book in veterinary clinics across the country. Furthermore it touches on the very important issue of active euthanasia in humans also. It is illustrated again with real photo-shopped photos of the 2 beautiful horses. It is not a scary boo ...more
