This book is a mystery book. It could be read on the second grade level. This book is about Scooby and his gang going to The Golden Knight Awards. While they are there, someone steals the names of the winners and the gang must find the person behind this. This book could be used to work on students problem-solving skills and their predicting of what is supposed to happen next. The only content concern could be the bad guy in the book could scare some of the younger readers.

Recommends it for: beginning readers and parents reading with them
Not much of a mystery to speak of with this story, but our girls love all things Scooby-Doo, so we're determined to read everything the library has to offer for him and the gang. This story is for beginning readers, so with a simple and short narrative and fun illustrations, I'm sure it's a good book to encourage children to read.

This Scooby Doo book is a great mystery that children can read and let their imagination go wild. I would use this book in my classroom while I was taaching about predictions and dtermining what was going to come next. This book is a great scaffolding tool.
We typically love the Scooby Doo mysteries but this one was just kind of meh, it wasn't very mysterious and we don't know what would have happened if the bad guy hadn't stolen the votes. My son gave it a 3 star so that's what we are going with :)
