Author is an airline pilot who writes novels with a military background. This book deals with an investigation about the death of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs on the eve of the more recent Iraqi War. The investigation proceeds, but absolutely no one, with the exception of the victim's father, wants any results other than accidental death. This was written in 2003 and I fear there are no more, although there were several earlier books by this fine author.

Many mistakes!!! Doesn't anybody proof-read anymore??? It was really annoying because there were so many mistakes, grammatical and names of characters.

That being said, the book had an interesting plot. Although, personally, I kept wishing the main character would be a little more forceful. Guess he is realistic.

He gets better with every book. I like the AF angle to his books. I hope he keeps writing. This was a great read.
