101 More Reasons Why a Cat Is Better Than a Man

Rate this book
Bestselling author Allia Zobel and bestselling cartoonist Nicole Hollander return to the popular theme that launched this successful series of cat humor titles

In this hilarious follow-up to their cat-humor classic, Sylvia's Nicole Hollander delivers the eye-catching, entertaining illustrations of Allia Zobel's irreverent and sometimes impudent confirmations of what women have suspected for years -- that they're better off with a cat.

- A cat would ask for directions if he were lost.

- Cats never ask, "What's in this casserole, honey?"

- Cats don't make a big deal out of the Super Bowl. Unless, of course, you serve shrimp dip.

- A cat would never make fun of your "bunny" slippers.

I am rereading books I have had for years and loved, or I wouldn't have kept them. That's what staying at home during a pandemic is all about -- enjoying what you have and staying safe. Anyway, this is a funny book and not on a cutesy level. The illustrations are by the Sylvia illustrator / writer.

Example:
Cats don't make jokes at your expense.

If people do make jokes at you about your cats or anything, get this book.
There is an updated version which I ordered. I am a dog person. This is a serious recommendation.

I received this from my grandma. I feel like she's trying to tell me something...

Anyway, it was sorta cute. I liked the drawings, which I thought were fun. Otherwise, it just felt like a very early 90's "Cathy."

This is hilarious! I liked how they really exaggerated the cats, but I didn't like he feeling of the pages or how each sentence began with "A cat" or "Cats". Anyway, it was very entertaining and a pleasure to read this, despite the messy handwriting.
