My kid is better than my cat hands down. I get the sarcasm. It was just a silly book (I guess that's the point).

Cats are definitely part of the family, and while calling them "kids" may be a bit of a stretch, they certainly have some things in common with the real human counterparts. And parents cater to both sets. This collection of quips and illustrations are sure to bring a smile to your face.
