Pet Handbooks
The African Grey Parrot Handbook
Titles in Barron's popular series of Pet Handbooks are filled with reliable information and helpful advice on animal care. Written by breeders, veterinarians, and other pet experts, these photo-illustrated books instruct on housing, feeding, healthcare, and where applicable, grooming. Titles devoted to dog breeds also discuss exercise needs and training methods. Barron's Pet Handbooks resemble Barron's alternate series, the Pet Owners' Manuals, but each of the Handbooks has a larger page count and includes more detailed advice and instruction.

This handbook is a must for every NEW owner. It is really great and it helped me many times when I was confused and not unable to discover what is wrong with my parrot.
I highly recommend anyone who is going to get a grey to read this book first as it introduces you to the main subjects you should be aware of.
Here are some of the contents this beneficial handbook explores:
The Grey Parrot Chronicles, Developing Behavior, Battling Boredom, Delivering a Proper Diet, Basic Breeding, All About Feathers including (Feather Plucking or Pulling), and many other essential contents every new owner needs to learn.
However, if you already have enough experience about the African Grey Parrot then I would recommend you to get a more advanced and detailed book than this one.
