I bought this book as I was interested in learning about Feng Shui. Hale and Evans provide a good overview of many aspects of Feng Shui and related disciplines of reflexology, homoeopathy, herbalism, massage and of course architectural design, Tai Chi and more.

I don't believe in chi energy flow, crystals, Chinese astrology or power points of the compass but was interesting to learn about actual Feng Shui rather than the "lite" version which strips out the superstitious content.

The authors are sensible and accompany the homoeopathy advice with instructions to seek proper medical attention.

This book has lots of practical tips that many people would find useful to improving their surrounds and living a less stressful life although if you don't go in for all the chi stuff then I suggest you may want to look elsewhere.

This book is very basic introduction to feng shui, natural healing (herbalism, homeopathy, ayurveda), touch (massage, aromatherpy, shiatsu, reflexology) and inner harmony (alexander Technique, T'ai Chi, Yoga Stretches, Meditation). The book is beautifully presented with color photos throughout the entirety of the book.
