Kaylee O’Shay has been playing soccer for her father’s soccer team and has recently started doing Irish dance at the Trean Gaoth Academy. He father is a former champion soccer player and he wants Kaylee to follow in his footsteps.

Kaylee is a soccer player-turned Irish dancer who struggles to balance her priorities. In this book, Kaylee is a beginner dancer who has not yet begun to compete, but in the series, she goes on to become a champion dancer.

The author, Rod Vick, is a dancer's father, so he understands the world of Irish dance and describes it very well. His writing style is easy to read but very enjoyable.
