Definitely the most enjoyable "manual" I have ever read! It goes far beyond just techniques of freediving and discussed physiology, yoga, mediation. I recommend it to friends as a great read even if they are not interested in freediving.

I found this an interesting read. It includes a lot of useful tips and takes information from a variety of disciplines to inform the reader. Of course, no substitute for actual, real-life training, but a good reference guide and food for thought regarding structuring exercises and improving freediving capacity. I'd say that some of the sections feel a little out-of-order, providing information too late for it to be as impactful. Otherwise, good content throughout.

I dream of freediving at least once a month. It is something I've attempted to do since I was a kid. When I was young, I wouldn't open my eyes in the pool, so I learned to listen and could tell when I reached the edge of the pool. I never lost that ability. When I freedive, I prefer to keep my eyes closed. This book has a bunch of informative practical skills to apply to apnea diving. Enjoy!
