A lot of interesting material in here, and author Rohdie provides a lot of pertinent and sometimes unexpected insight into the making and content of the films (i.e. he is the only film writer I’ve read who believes Zabriskie Point is not only a good film, but one of Antonioni’s best works). However, the organization of the book can be a little difficult, with no chapter titles and arranged only partially chronologically. Still, a good read for any fan of Michelangelo Antonioni.
