A Good Introduction To Some Classic Hollywood Names
Focusing on directors and writers, Film Crazy is a great starting point for a beginning film buff. The interviews are, for the most part, short and only hit a few of the subject’s career highlights, but they offer enough detail to introduce the person and encourage follow up in more comprehensive volumes. If you’re new to film history and looking for good place to start, I recommend this book.
