Images are bold and colorful. Some of them are so engaging it almost looks like you could reach in and touch the creatures. This bilingual (Spanish/English) text is full of gorgeous images and fun facts. At the end of the book there additional counting pages. I like that it was not just the same creature/number pairings as earlier in the book. There is also a page where readers can pick out which image does not belong under the sea. Finally, there are two pages of ocean life facts listed neatly with images. A glossary and index are also included.

I like the fun facts about each of the animals at the end of the book. I also like how they used pictures of real sea animals
