While it's written by Microsoft, it's an invaluable resource for learning about the history of the company and its products. However, if you are looking for a "warts and all" corporate history, this is not the book for you.

AIrport book repsented to cionference attendees. The history of Microsoft written at its 25th anniversary (1995). Leaves out all the rough parts. Paints a picture of Microsoft as an amazing accomplishment.
