Very interesting account on how a valley was flooded to form a reservoir for the city of Boston, and in the wake how the area became a wilderness thick with wildlife. Will be exploring this area soon!

I was hoping to get more of a history of the people that were displaced, and the actual process of the townspeople leaving their homes, but this book was a very nature-based study of Quabbin. That's okay, but it was not what I was expecting from the book.
