The best travel guide we found, and we looked at a whole lot of them. From hip tomes like Lonely Planet to old standbys like Frommer's and Fodor, this one offered the best combination of hotel, restaurant, and sightseeing info as well as an excellent compendium of history and culture. Plus, this is one of the few dedicated entirely to Belize instead of going the "Guide To Central America" route.
Well, I haven't gotten my hands on this book yet (“so why the hell are you writing a review?!”); but I really want to go to Belize (and surrounding lush, tropical paradise) for my honeymoon/pre-graduate school peace corps thing. Two months, some rum punch and a sense of unmitigated adventurous spirit! I have faith in the ol’Rough Guide brand, so I’m betting that this will be a tasty morsel of pre-trip planning. Yummmmy.
