Endlessly searching for the comics or gn that I read as a kid and checked out over and over.
I know the art, and the images, but they had blank hardback library covers.
The search goes on.

I like most adaptations from this series "Graphic Revolve" but must say this did not please me. I love Stoker's Dracula, but this left so much out of the plot that it was bare bones at that. No Renfield! The book starts with Dracula as a vampire and everyone knowing it from the beginning, then it's wham, bam, thank ya mam; now you are one too. Bang, bang. They are all dead. The ending isn't even the same. Boo.

Jonathan Harker es contratado por el Conde Drácula alojado en Transilvania quien quiere encontrar una vivienda adecuada para mudarse a Londres. Cuando Harker llega al lugar donde vive el conde y se encuentra con un misterioso castillo y su dueño es aún más raro. Jonathan se ve atrapado en una difícil situación que pondrá en peligro a su esposa, amigos y, cuando Drácula se muda, a todo Londres.
Nunca leí el libro de Drácula pero cuando me prestaron este cómic me pareció un buen momento para hacerlo luego de terminar dicha novela gráfica.
La verdad comencé a léela sabiendo poco y nada sobre la historia, aunque sentía que me iba a gustar más. Es un buen cómic pero sin duda no supera al cómic de El extraño caso del Dr. Jekyll y Mr. Hyde (que es mi cómic favorito y hasta ahora nada lo supera) pero me gusto aunque esperaba un poco más de este, creí que me gustaria más de lo que me gusto.
Cuenta con unas ilustraciones increíbles, eso si, son muy buenas y la verdad con los cómics que leí de esta editorial con ninguno me lleve una decepción y las ilustraciones siempre son buenísimas.

Una historia adaptada, en la cual solo muestra las partes más relevantes del texto original.


Pero por condensar en pocas páginas, creo que el hilo conductor se iba perdiendo en algunas viñetas, daba la sensación de rapidez,pero de esa rapidez que no ves lo que está pasando y sientes que algo se te está pasando para completar toda la historia.

Dejando atrás esos detalles, creo que es una historia que un niño o bien un adolescente puede entender los aspectos más importantes de la historia.

Esta versión en novela grafica del libro clásico está bien para personas que no leen y quieren adentrarse al mundo de la lectura, pero en mi no tan humilde opinión, le faltó mucho contenido, lo cual es entendible puesto que es un cómic en el que la información tiene que ir lo más sintetizada posible para que se pueda leer lo más rápido posible, aún así me dió los detalles necesarios para querer leer el libro original

This is a good graphic novel of Dracula. The ending has been changed a bit but is okay for middle readers. I'm using this book for an ENL student in middle school so he can access high quality reading material that is at his reading level.

A fun read! The art is excellent and the adaptation well done. As you read it you feel like it’s been adapted into an American tv soap drama and it just keeps you reading!! Definitely one to buy or borrow and read!

Great illustrations and adapted for kids, it does a good job of telling the key elements of the story. The original is long-winded and a struggle for most adults, and this misses some elements of the plot to focus on the central tale.

Like all of the common core graphic novel editions, this left a lot of the plot out. The artwork is better than average, and there is enough of the plot to make this an easy 74 pages, but overall, it is merely average, at best.

Good artwork, easy to read retelling of Dracula with some alternations. Even has a section at the back with questions for a book review/examination.
