I think the book does what it claims...gives you a crash course. If you have a week before taking the test, this might be a good read. It goes through the basics of taking the test and what to look for.

Does what it says, folks. A crash course for the ACT.
But don't go in expecting detailed explanations and a variety of problems. If you don't have much time to dedicate to studying, this will be the book for you.
If you prefer a more intense approach, go for one of the more hefty PR books.
