This is a well-drawn gag comic, but the jokes are just OK. It feels like the intended audience is children, so perhaps younger children would enjoy this.
Debuting in the late 1950s, Bollie en Billie (or Boule et Bill) follow the antics of one boy and his dog. Written as a potential rival to Schulz's 'Peanuts' it feels more gag-orientated than philosophical and in that way is, perhaps, better pitched to the intended younger audience. Each spread consists of a series of panels leading to a final-panel punchline and the whole thing looks and works well; intended for newspaper formats I suppose. This is gentle, fun humour with a great cocker spaniel as the star.
