What a beautiful but sad book.
I absolutely understand everything that happened and did not want it to end. No matter how old you are there is still love to be experienced. Good read

some-of-my-favorites
May 16, 2026Our Souls at Work arrived during a period where I was increasingly successful on paper and increasingly exhausted in reality.
I was very good at being productive. I was far less skilled at asking whether the way I was working was sustainable—or aligned with the kind of life I actually wanted.
Erica Brown asks meaningful questions about purpose, ambition, burnout, and what work should—and shouldn’t—demand from us.
It reminded me that providing for the people I love means very little if I’m too depleted to be fully present with them.
Success should not require abandoning your humanity.
This book helped me recalibrate.

Inspiration and insight that transforms. The message contained by Mo Anderson I found the most powerful as I know her personally from the real estate profession. She was a guest on the 5 Minute Success podcast where she shared "Secrets of a Joy-Filled Life Revealed". Karen Briscoe, author and podcast host 5 Minute Success

Good quotes and applicable advice from successful members of the body of Christ. It’s worth a read.

Interesting stories, however some very vague on faith and even unorthodox. Lacking truly robust theology.

A bit disappointing. I think I get what it was trying to do, I just don't think it did it very well. Some of the stories were engaging and helpful. There was some inspiration here, but not much. At least, not for me.

An interesting book. Many business leaders prognosticate on their faith and it's relation to their business world.
