About the author

Marshall Rosenberg was an American psychologist and the creator of Nonviolent Communication, a communication process that helps people to exchange the information necessary to resolve conflicts and differences peacefully. He was the founder and Director of Educational Services for the Center for Nonviolent Communication, an international non-profit organization.

In 1961, Rosenberg received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and in 1966 was awarded Diplomate status in clinical psychology from the American Board of Examiners in Professional Psychology. He lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the Center for Nonviolent Communication's office is located.

من نمی‌توانم آن‌ها را به انجام هیچ کاری وادار کنم. تنها کاری که می‌توانم انجام دهم این است که با اعمال قدرت، تنبیه، تهدید،... کاری کنم تا آن‌ها آرزو کنند که ای کاش آن کار را انجام داده بودند.
و بعد آن‌ها درس دوم درباره‌ی قدرت را به من آموختند. هر بار که من آن‌ها را وادار می‌کردم که آرزو کنند ای کاش کاری را انجام می‌دادند، آن‌ها مرا وادار می‌کردند که آرزو کنم ای کاش آن‌ها را وادار به چنان کاری نمی‌کردم. ساده‌تر بگویم خشونت موجب خشونت می‌شود. و هر بار من برای انجام کار خودم از خشونت استفاده کردم، هزینه‌اش را می‌پرداختم.

این کتاب به جز چندتا نکته و مثال تکرار کتاب اصلی مارشال روزنبرگ است و حرف خیلی جدیدی نداشت و خوندنش برای من سریع پیش رفت و مرور خوبی بود. و خب تٲثیر این کتاب این بود که یک دید متفاوت و خوبی نسبت به درک کردن خودم و دیگران پیدا کردم ولی هم‌چنان در مرحله عمل و ارتباط نیاز به تکرار و تمرین و اشتباه کردن دارم. و راستش هنوز خودم به این نتیجه نرسیدم که استفاده از زبان ارتباط بدون خشونت چه قدر می‌تونه توی روابطم موثر باشه.

Lecture très sympathique mais que j'achève avec le sentiment que la communication non violente n'est pas pour moi... ce qui est assez perturbant. Je comprends la nécessité, je suis d'accord avec les exemples et illustrations de ce qu'il ne "faut" plus faire. Malgré tout, impossible de m'imaginer l'appliquer. Je vais poursuivre la documentation sur le sujet quoi qu'il arrive !

Always worth deepening NVC , especially in interacting with those who are very vulnerable and impressionable. short book but not short on Rosenberg's genius. ends with role play transcripts, that can be a bit dry but this one is valuable if you find yourself breaking up playground scuffles.

آنچه در این کتاب می‌خوانید متن صحبت‌های مارشال روزنبرگ در کنفرانس ملی معلمان مدرسه‌های مونته‌سوری در ایالت کالیفرنیا در سال ۱۹۹۹ است. او در این برنامه مراحل اصلی ارتباط بدون‌خشونت (ان. وی. سی.)۵ را توصیف می‌کند و کاربرد آنها را در مدرسه، کار و زندگی نشان می‌دهد. مارشال به‌ویژه زبان زرافه و شغال، دایرهٔ لغات بیان احساس و نیاز، نحوهٔ تمایز مشاهده و ارزیابی، تفاوت تقاضا و درخواست آمرانه، نقش قدرت، تنبیه و مهارت‌های ضروری برای ارتباط همدلانه را شرح می‌دهد.

«ارتباط بدون‌خشونت» یک مدل ارتباطی مبتنی بر مهارت‌های کلامی است که در آن نیازهای انسان علت انجام هر عملی است، یعنی در پس هر عملی، نیازی وجود دارد و شاید بتوان ارتباط بدون‌خشونت را این گونه تعریف کرد: «خلق و نگهداری کیفیتی از ارتباط که تحقق‌بخش نیازهای طرفین ارتباط باشد». این الگو در هر موقعیت و موضوعی کارایی دارد و می‌توان از آن در نظام آموزشی، روابط خانوادگی، رفتار سازمانی و... استفاده کرد. این مجموعه نهمین اثر برای آموزش و انتقال مفاهیم این الگوی ارتباطی است.

ارتباط بدون‌خشونت روشی تعاملی است که تبادل اطلاعات و حل صلح‌آمیز اختلافات را آسان می‌کند. ارتباط بدون‌خشونت بر ارزش‌های مشترک انسانی و نیازها تکیه می‌کند و افراد را تشویق می‌کند از زبانی که سبب مقاومت یا کاهش عزت نفس می‌شود، پرهیز کنند و به جای آن از زبانی کمک گیرند که حسن تفاهم را افزایش می‌دهد.

او مفهوم زبان زرافه و زبان شغال را در این همایش یا کارگاه به صورت عملی نشان می دهد. اینکه زبان شغال، زبانی مشترک است در بسیاری از مدارس که برای پیشبرد اهداف فردی یا افرادی، چگونه ممکن است تخریب دانش آموزان را در پی داشته باشد. یعنی معلمی چون خودش با فرهنگ زبان شغال رشد یافته، همان مسیر را در آموزشش ادامه می دهد و مهم نیست که نزدیکان و دانش آموزانش چه ضرباتی را متحمل می شوند.
او در این کارگاه سعی کرده است که بگوید ارتباط بدون خشونت، قرار است زندگی را برای همه خوشایند تر کند.

Ich habe dieses Buch für die Uni gelesen.
Teils wirkt es möglicherweise etwas befremdlich, wenn man es nicht gewohnt ist, offen über seine Gefühle und Bedürfnisse. Es regt aber durchaus die Selbstreflexion und Überlegungen an, wie man mit seinen Mitmenschen verständlicher kommunizieren kann.
Insgesamt ist es gut verständlich geschrieben, da es relativ nahe an verbalen Gesprächen ist und aus einem Vortrag und einem Seminar resultierte.

NVC is a powerful concept. This book overlaps the larger book in its teaching and message, but to grasp the full measure of where this is coming from and how to use NVC, I find the larger book more helpful. This is fine to supplement, and to focus more specifically for school setting, but not enough to fully teach the process.

This book seems like it might be boring, however it is life-changing and the opposite of boring. It’s a very quick read and a pretty short book with a big impact.
Ifyou read this with an open mind and a growth mind-set, the positive changes you can make in your personal and professional life can be profound.
The reasoning behind a lack of motivation for students (or yourself) to get things done is mind-blowing. It is also remarkably simple - something you’ll wish you’d thought of, or considered on your own.
I changed the way I run my everyday life after reading it, and it stuck. Just one simple, change can make a world of difference.
If I still had kids at home, I would apply this to them.

Highly recommend for anyone! This book is not just for teachers!

This book/pamphlet started off well enough. However, it seems like an overcomplicated and overly optimistic explanation of NVC. I definitely felt I got something out of it, but more clarification or better examples would have been great.

Beautiful read. It reinforces the ideas from the previous books in a different perspective. It really helped me understand the concept and method better. I’ll be reading it 2 more times to better grasp the process. It’s a short read
