Great for casually flipping through to find helpful words to use in papers & everyday use. Very good examples--simple, easy to read, and (more importantly,) remember, format. The elucidating sentences are funny, and therefore memorable, increasing memory retention. And for me, that's saying something.

Not the most riveting book in the world, but there are some great words and excellent examples of how they are used. Also, the definitions are simple and easy to understand.
