One of the first books that Chloe picked out at the local bookstore by herself (she was so good while I was catching up with a dear friend talking about books and writing - thanks, Alyson, for the talk), so I will always remember it for that and that makes it gain an extra star.

Otherwise, an o.k. book that she moved on from fairly quickly. She was obsessed, though, for about a week or so.

A warning for those with young kids - the glitter rubs off quite quickly. Not surprising, but throwing it out there...

My children were transfixed by this fantastic book. They loved the enchanting rhyming text and watched in delight as a little glittering fairy vanished each time a page was turned.
