My mum has had this book for years and it is one of her favourites so when I discovered it while doing a clearout, I decided I'd give it a go. It was just brilliant. Harry Benson is a living legend who has been there, done that and worn the t-shirt. I can't believe I never discovered him earlier. His photos are just fantastic and puts so many other photographers pictures I've seen to shame. He's photographed almost everyone: The Queen, The Beatles, Jimmy Carter, Donald & Ivana Trump, Greta Garbo, Jack Nicholson, Truman Capote, Daniel Day-Lewis, Cyndi Lauper.... the list goes on. I like his anecdotes at the bottom of pictures about what celebrities were like to work with and it is especially entertaining such as in the case of Princess Michael of Kent if he dislikes them. If you are interested in photography or popular culture this is for you.
