The title of this book is misleading. It should be called "intro to metaphysics" or something like that. It would be a great read for anyone with little to no knowledge of the material, as it covers the surface of many topics. That being said, if you already know the basics of astrology, chakras, time, and energy, then you should probably skip this one. It doesn't go in-depth on anything. However, it is fun to read, and I found the breathing exercises at the end of the book to be very helpful, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.
If you are anything like the majority and closed-up with fear, your mind will not digest this book so easily. In that case, I'd suggest a willingness to open up slight for the sake of your own mind and everybody else. There seems to be a willingness in the spiritual world to breakdown our language, to give words an emphasised meaning, re-member, HoME... I get why this is done, it reminds me of being back in pre-school, I didn't care for it much back then.
This is the first book I've read to correlate with my experiences and to verify the knowledge already passed down from the Ancients. Our chakra system is a real part of life and has the ability to be accessed, if you try.
This is quite a frustrating read and at the end of the day, it's a bit of a disappointment. The title is very misleading. I am two thirds of the way through it and the 8th chakra has only been mentioned a handful of times. Oddly, though, the subject of the title was what drew my interest so for me the book is unfocused and has no flow what so ever.
Plenty of great info, randomly presented, and lacking what it promised: The 8th Chakra - What it is and how it can transform your life...
Fantastic and totally comprehensive. So comprehensive in fact, I had to skip mad chapters about like quantum physics and such. Astrology, mother earth and meditation were all involved. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
