A very cute book that explains a lot of the oddities you see in life with made up creatures. For example, have you ever seen a tree leaning one particular way? If you did it's because a hugag slept there. Now, I am not going to give away what a hugag actually is, or how it came about to sleep in such a way that made the tree lean over...for that, you are going to have to pick up the book. But it is a cute read for kids.

A cute introduction to some of the more colorful creatures of American folklore. Give a copy of this to any kid who wants to read about more imaginary critters than the standard werewolves and unicorns.
