This is a beautiful introduction to fine art. I like how it pairs vivid photos with the artwork to highlight the colors. I also really like that it associates the colors with words that might evoke a feeling or emotion, an early introduction to art appreciation.

My only complaint is that if you're using a book to teach colors I think it should include all the primary and secondary colors and this one is missing purple. I find this to be an especially glaring error since the Baby Einstein character featured on the cover is none other than Monet the PURPLE zebra. The artist Monet's "Lavender Water Lilies" would've been a perfect painting to include in the book.

Great for teaching colors. Introduces fine art and has peekaboo windows to photos of objects in each color for word/object recognition too.
