The founders of Babeland, the nation's most popular sex-toy boutique, offers a real-world guide to getting satisfied, with frank answers to frequently asked questions-and lots of sexy color photographs of attractive real people

When Babeland opened its doors in 1993 in Seattle, it filled the need for a "toy store" that made customers feel comfortable, and a non- threateni

I had a chance while waiting for a friend to actually read through this book, pretty much cover to cover. I am SO disappointed in it! There are several reasons, but here are the top 3:

1. Stop sexualizing breasts. They're no more "sexual" than men's (yes men have breast tissue, just not as much of it). Is this area erogenous for a lot of women? Sure. But it's erogenous for a lot of men, too.

2. Stop saying foreskin is removed for "traditional" purposes. It's done for health reasons. Forget the aes

I work at Babeland, a fantastic women-owned sex toy shop with stores in NYC and Seattle. This is a sex manual by the owners, which I would recommend to young women with some experience, who need more information. The photos of real people (not models) of all different body types, plus the gorgeous layout make it one of the most contemporary sex manuals on the market, and one that your 22-year old college graduate won't laugh off the table.

Full disclosure: I was recently hired by this company. This book was provided to me by them.

I've been a sex educator for a few years and this is definitely a book I'll recommend from now on. Moregasm does a great job of giving accurate information without feeling very dense. Conversely, the book takes on a conversational tone (for example, sometimes they'll use "cock" instead of "penis") but doesn't make the reader feel sleazy. I love the pictures included. Not only are they informative and usef

Great information presented in a positive, fun way. Has wonderful basic information that would be appropriate for young people who are just learning about sexuality, but is comprehensive enough to teach something to folks who've been goin' at it for years. The safer sex/contraception chapter could have more info, but overall, a great primer.

One of the best, practical books on all things sex-related I've ever read. Super unintimidating, pretty pretty pictures and gosh, informative. Great for libertines and prudes alike... everyone has something to learn. I wrote a review of it here, if ya wanna read more of my thoughts: ...more

I rarely review books on here, but this one I feel a really strong need to comment on.

I am torn reading this. I decided ultimately to keep it on my bookshelf at home (at least for now) despite having a lot of really significant frustrations with the book.

For starters, the authors of this book created one of the first feminist/queer centered sex toy shops in Seattle. As such, I expected the book to be more inclusive of different kinds of bodies - not just trans bodies, but also people with disabi
