An incredible resource of scientific data & instruction for global conservation. The fact based conclusions about how humans have altered ecosystems are undeniable. Most disturbing I felt is the as yet unknown long term effects of synthetic chemicals like BPA (found in nearly all plastics) on humans. And that these chemicals are found almost everywhere on the planet due to both human & environmental distribution. The best thing about this book however is that they also come up with solutions to these problems, many of which are also economically beneficial. Wonderful pictures, graphs, charts & atlases throughout!
