USA TODAY bestselling author Stephanie Bond was seven years deep into a systems engineering career and pursuing an MBA at night when an instructor remarked that she had a flair for writing and suggested that she submit to academic journals. But Stephanie, a voracious reader, was only interested in writing fiction–more specifically, romantic fiction.

Upon completing her master’s degree and with no formal training in writing (her undergraduate degree is in computer programming), she started writing a romance novel in her spare time. Two years later in 1995 she sold her first manuscript, a romantic comedy, to Harlequin Books.

In 1997, with ten sales under her belt to two publishers, Stephanie left her corporate job to write women’s romantic fiction full-time. In 2011,

Stephanie launched a self-publishing business. Since that time, she has sold more than 1 million copies of her own books. To-date, Stephanie has published over 70 novels and has over 6 million copies of her work in worldwide distribution in numerous languages and formats.

This book was a nice way to get three Blaze reads in one book.
The first story by Stephanie Bond was really good, until the last part. The tension between the h/h was great, and then the story took a very strange turn and started repeating itself over and over. It just left me saying, 'Huh? What happened?'
The second story by Leslie Kelly was my favorite. There was a lot of role playing between the h/h, and quite a bit of steam. A fun read.
The last story by Kate Hoffman wasn't really my cuppa. To me it just felt like everything between the characters was kind of rushed, and I didn't think there was enough chemistry between the h/h to carry off their rushed relationship.
I'm giving the book three stars because of the Leslie Kelly story.

Her Sexy Valentine was the best book out of this triple set. Even then it was average and not the greatest.

3 novellas in one book. Checked it out from the library. So you know, when i get these books, i make myself read at least some of each story, of each author if I am going to review the book, as i think it is unfair to judge an entire publication based on one weak story, as it is after a weak story I'm most tempted to toss the whole thing aside.

So, onto my review. 3 stories, mixed reviews!

I almost stopped with the first story "Her Sexy Valentine". There was the use of Dicken's structure of "A Christmas Carol", but it wasn't executed as well, and i kept thinking i bumped my Kindle and got sent back a few pages. Still, a cute story with an EXCELLENT message.

2nd story "Play with Me". This was a very sweet satisfying story in many ways. I really liked H&H. Reese, the male love interest was far more believable than Amanda, whose "hangup" about being a b*tch, the one to always end past relationships was largely used as an element of conflict in the plot. The youtube piece made me feel embarrassed just reading it, but what a unique addition, funny. Overall, it was a rather touching story, HEA and all that, plus nice erotic romance!

3rd story "The Charmer". Really enjoyed this one as well. The use of the website intro was rather confusing to me, as it seemed so small and disjointed, then the story starts. Liked the H&H, both with real people elements, some rockin' hot erotica, sweet romance built right in. Many elements of conflict, but the one involving the website (which you will see coming a mile away) seemed kind of ridiculous to me, as Alex's dating past is so much like most charming attractive males that I've known, who haven't met the "love of their life" yet. But again, I really enjoyed this story, a nice piece of escapism fiction.

READ and ENJOY this book!

I enjoy reading anthologies but I hate having to rate those kind of books. There should be a set of stars for each story in a book. Of course, books like The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance may not work with that system--LOL!

Anyway, it doesn't feel fair to rate three different stories as one book. As in the case of this book. I can't rate the first story--Her Sexy Valentine by Stephanie Bond--since I didn't read it. Nothing wrong with the story other than it was a story line I've never cared for which is why I chose not to read it.

I actually got the book for the other two stories. The Charmer by Kate Hoffman as I've read a couple of her other books and thought this might be good. It turned out to be a DNF. I love ALPHA males but the hero in this one seemed too beta or wishy washy so I just couldn't get into the story.

The third story Play With Me by Leslie Kelly started out a little slow and I almost gave up on it. Instead, I decided to skip a few pages ahead and glad I did. It had started to pick up & actually turned into a story I enjoyed. I have more books by LK in my TBR pile so I will be checking those out soon.

Eh. I read this for genre "research". It is what it is and it's not what it's not. I was entertained, maybe not the authors may have intended since I laughed at some parts that were meant to be serious.
