This was a textbook for a sociology class I took in college. The class itself was interesting and thought-provoking, and the topics led to some good discussions and reflection about society and human behavior. Unfortunately, the book wasn’t nearly as engaging as the subject matter. It felt dry and not especially well written, which made it harder to get through than it should have been. The ideas behind the course were worthwhile, but the textbook itself left a lot to be desired.
