I didn't think this book was written very well until I did more research in the area. This is just the way organizational communication research is written. This is a pretty good overview. There are some interesting ideas, but in the end it's still a textbook.

I made it. I finished! First it's hard to follow, but once you get into it, it's fine. Full with jargons, but comparing with other authors (Karl Weick for example) it's a walk in the park! ...more

Its about organizational communication. Its not a thriller but gives good information
Aika palikka kirja organisaatioviestinnästä. Lähteet eivät juuri keskustelleet keskenään ja tuntui, että lähes kaikille teorioille annettiin yhtäläinen painoarvo, vaikka selkeästi jotkut ovat jo akateemisessa tutkimuksessa vanhentuneita. Vain satunnaisesti päästiin pintaa syvemmälle tutkimukseen.
A good introduction and guide for Org Comm beginners, like me.

Not too bad for a textbook. The information is very up to date.

Horrible wordy for a text book. I felt like I needed a dictionary to read the book or another book to explain the book.
