There is some good basic information in the book in regards to bait fishing for catfish. While rods and reels are mentioned as possible tackle the use of artificial lures is ignored. I've had good luck using spinners for cats in lakes and ponds for the last fifty plus years. Several species and their range are briefly discussed.
