Silvestri's instruction in navigating the different types of nursing exams is the best I've seen. I liked the book far better than the Kaplan and F.A. Davis test strategy titles. Silvestri has included reference sheets on culture, diets, and lab values which are extremely useful (especially for those who make flash cards).

Kaplan: makes references to the real world way of doing things versus the perfect exam world. The danger in that is that it could pollute your thinking and understanding during exams.

F.A. Davis Test Success is part of their Success Series, which I recommend freely to every nursing student, but the Silvestri book is better than their strategy guide. Sorry, Davis!
