Title should definitely have a "for flowers" tacked at the end. I do not think I would have purchased this book at all if it had specifically stated it was for flower gardening anywhere on the cover or in the introduction.

This book was mostly about creating a gardening aesthetic rather than creating a container garden itself. The information about containers to plant in gave no information about the actual benefits of how the container helps the plant thrive and more about whether it suited a particular vibe.

The images were beautiful and it definitely offers aesthetic inspiration but is not a practical beginners guide of any sort for those looking to begin a container garden.

It’s fine but I wish it was more a practical guide and went beyond flowers and visual arrangements.

Beautiful pictures and great as visual inspiration. If you're brand new to container gardening though you're better off with Container Gardening for Dummies by Bill Marken. But this book is a terrific companion for the Dummies book.

I gifted this to myself for helping a friend with a massive library weeding project last week. It's a K-4 library. Hence the weed.

Inspirational!!! Better than Pinterest for gardening ideas and advice. I would read more by him.
