Love is often a mystery to teenagers — sometimes painful, other times glorious, always challenging. This book will help them understand and sort out their myriad feelings and experiences. Rather than merely offering one adult’s opinions or reflections on love, Kirberger deftly combines material from teens dealing with firsthand adolescent love with that from adults sensitive to the special needs of teens. She includes original letters she has received from teens, along with her responses to their questions, concerns and confusion. This blend provides a wide-ranging perspective on love and relationships. It will enable teens to gain wisdom and choose more wisely when making decisions in love and relationships.
This book is designed to guide teens through the maze of love and relationships in a gentle, understanding and compassionate way. It isn’t a dos-and-don’ts manual, but rather a how-it-is-in-love guidebook. Teens will come to treasure it as a wise and loving counselor and companion. On the roller-coaster ride of teen love, this is one book no teen can afford to be without.

I am not a teen anymore but it was nice to read some of the things that teens go through and I myself went through. It is relevant to relationships and love in older people as well. It was a very good read and brought back memories from when I was a teenager. Some were good memories and some bad but it did kind of help me with how I act and react in my current relationship too. Just because it is a book for teens doesn't mean that only teens should read it because it can be helpful to anyone.
Wow… I have just read yet another one of the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul book from their series. Accept this book was all about relationships and romance. I am so sad that I have finished the last book of the chicken soup for the teenage soul; that I own. Hopefully I can buy more. I absolutely love these books so very much and I really do learn a lot of life lessons from them. This book has taught me relationships 101, and one of the first lessons they teach you is self love and care. These books are so great for teenagers, like myself to read, learn, and enjoy. I have had so much fun reading “ Teen Love Series: On Relationships” written by the number one New York Times bestselling author Kimberly Kirberger. And I hope you can to when you read the entire series.
I have enjoyed the Chicken Soup for the Soul books and have a collection of them. I remember when I bought this book when I was a teenager thinking that I would love it since I love romance and I loved the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul books. Although this book contained some new stories and it's worth keeping for that reason, I found a lot of it repetitive and I'm also not into poetry which there is a lot of.
hahahhahahhahaha! k, fun story: My best Brazilian friend named Isis who is signal and is 32 knew about my secret depressing romance life and when was over she gave me this book. the thing about this book is that is not A STORY FOR A TEEN WHO WAS IN A RELATION SHIP, OR A TEEN WHO WANTS TO BE IN RELATION SHIP but how to teacher TEEN TO HAVE A RELATION SHIP, and it really makes sense to have a book like that and to read it ,cause there is so much teens who is having a relation ship and don't really take care of them self and start in the wrong foot, i, my self would make every teen read this book, is like a bible that let u know how to not let ur self comity a sin, in this case, end up with broke heart or have a child on ur own, good thing ,my case was just the broken heart and that pretty much i am going to live up with!!!!! so read these book! k !
This book was really good, like the book on tough stuff, this was just like it. Teens were the authors of all of the stories. I don't really know why I read, this book. I mean I don't have a boyfriend or a lover yet, I have lots of crushes but none of my crushes like me back (some of the stories were based on this kind of situation). This book helped me to learn that it's not good to just think about one certain person, especially if they don't like you back the way that you like them. After reading this book, I realized that there were a lot of things about love that I didn't know, but now that I know all about love (or at least think I do) I won't make certain mistakes, and I'll know how to deal with break-ups or something equally as bad as them.
09/20/11 I think the book is ok. It isn't great. It's kind of boring. The book has poems in it and it has situations where people have trouble with love. Sometimes people are insecure because when someone doesn't like them, they think something is wrong with them. You could try to change their mind but it will almost never work. They should take out all the poems and advice in the book and just make it full of stories about people's situations. I think if they do that, it will be a much better book.
This is such a great book!!!!!!!! It has great stories about teens, and love. I love the poems in it. People that love to read about teen love would love this book.I have it at home, so if anyone wants to borrow. Let me know. Its a great book. I recommend!!
