So my library recently made a bulk purchase of the Secrets of the Library of Doom books. I'd never read one of the Library of Doom or Return to the Library of Doom books before, and in fact, I wasn't aware that Michael Dahl had previously published books about the same library this series focuses on until I tried to log it on Goodreads and found other titles. But anyway, when these little 40-page books came in, I thought "hey that sounds interesting," and so I checked them all out and read them in a day.
