Since I'm writing articles on India and including a book chapter in my book (and as I'm already past the half-way point, it looks as if I just might actually finish the bleeping thing!), how could I resist purchasing this while at Kinokuniya bookstore in Singapore. Thus far, I've reviewed the contents and marked the chapters and sections I'll read.......I'll write more, after I've read them.....LL 23 June GZ
I've started reading and all I can say is that this book sounds as if it were written by the Chamber of Commerce, promoting : 'everything's coming up roses' but no real mention of the thorns of the rose bush. There are some things good here....overall, though, while I'll skim through much of the book, this is not the one I'd recommend if you wanted to read only one book on India. LL 1 July GZ
