About the author

Luciano De Crescenzo was an Italian writer, film actor, director and engineer.

Born in Naples, he graduated in engineering and worked for IBM Italy until 1976, when he published the bestseller Così parlò Bellavista (Thus Spake Bellavista), a collection of facts and anecdotes about his city which sold 600,000 copies in Italy and was translated into numerous languages. In 1980 he debuted as actor in Il pap'occhio, under the direction of his friend Renzo Arbore, together with Roberto Benigni.

Un libro leggero, fresco, divertente e anche ricco di spunti filosofici. Si alternano episodi con protagonisti il prof. Bellavista, Cazzaniga e gli amici del palazzo a dialoghi in stile "simposio" tra Socrate e altri filosofi greci su temi d'attualità tra cui televisione e automobile.
Una naturale continuazione del celebre "Così parlò Bellavista".

This book is pure fun really including some education and source of interesting thoughts. Ou Dialogoi is a book consisted of short stories but these together make really interesting and combine story. Some stories caught my attention less but some I purely fell in love with.


These are many dialogs defying the time and creating it's own universe to show authors thoughts.

Okuduğum en güzel kitaplardan biri. Eskişehir İnsancıl Kitapevinde ikinci el bölümünde bulduğum bir cevher. Son derece eğlenceli ve göndermeli. Kitabın ve yazarın hiç ilgi görmemiş olmasına şaşıyorum.
