Nicholas Thunderheart moved though the steamy forest with the strength of a jungle cat. Primal…predatory. Years ago, scandal drove him to isolation in the Smoky Mountains. But now that solitude is shattered—by a woman.
Jane Litton knew him as the public did: as a coward. But Nicholas in the flesh is nothing like she’d expected. Nor was her fiery reaction to him.
Nicholas had always been a mystery, but Jane must unlock his secrets—and bring him home to a daughter he’d never known.
This is a very good novel. It is the story of relationships, between lovers, exes, parents, and siblings. The book addresses a specific problem in society, that of children caught in the aftermath of divorce. I would have preferred an Epilogue chapter to be added. It ended a little too abruptly for me.
