We originally got this cookbook based on some good reviews, and because we needed something similar for dinners.

After too much whingeing on the part of my daughter- then around 8- I made a rule: no one who did not cook at least 1 dinner a night for the family was entitled to complain about the food provided. This had some good, easy, and fairly healthful recipes, so if she chose the cooking AND complaining route- which she did some of the time- it wouldn't be onerous; it's not like we were requiring Beef Wellington! it worked great for that, and we still have a number of the recipes bookmarked.

And just tonight we made a very streamlined chili-mac which was nonetheless very tasty indeed, and made a LOT.

I am giving it 4 rather than 5 stars because the 10 minutes notion is ridiculous; these will take 20-30 min, minimum. (I do not know why all recipe authors provide unrealistic time estimates of the cooking process...)

However, they are still fast and easy, and reasonably healthful, so the recipes are good for time-pressed dinner cooking.

This is my new favorite cookbook. All the recipes have no more than 5 ingredients and take no more than 10 minutes to cook. This is my kind of cooking! I've tried 3 recipes and all were delicious. One of the ones I tried was "Caribbean Chicken Curry" and it tasted very much like the wonderful chicken curry I had in Jamaica. I plan to try more. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend this cookbook too highly. There was only one recipe that I really enjoyed. The bisque recipe is really awful...it made for a funny story.
