Others may complain about the ebook formatting. Who cares. This book is amazing, awesome and you should probably have it both in ebook and hard copy. Some of the most practical and important elements of business and practice all in one useful tome. Get it. Read it. Refer to it often. Well worth it.
This is a valuable resource for somebody who's interested in hanging out their own shingle, and who may not enjoy the benefits of a mentor. Most of Foonberg's advice is quite good - some of it can be a little obvious, and some of it directs you to your state bar. That's to be expected in a book for lawyers. Be careful which edition you pick up: I bought the third edition, from 1991. That meant I skipped entire chapters dedicated to software, and much of the advice was laughably outdated (lol @ buying a high-quality typewriter)
