There's a funny little guy - he might be a gnome - who's trying to take over the Baily School Kids' favorite tree in this brand-new story.
And there's a new slide at school, one that Horrible Harry really wants to try - but the playground won't be open for ages!
These great new stories about favorite characters plus excerpts from favorite books about Ramona, Julian, and Tomie make this collection one you won't want to miss!

This was a fun collection of short stories by various authors. There were 6 stories in all. My favorites were Gloria Who Might Be My Best Friend, and Tomie dePaola’s First Day of School. The first of my favorites is about Gloria who is new to town and how she becomes fast friends with Julian. The next is about Tomie’s first day of first grade and how he learned to read. This would be fun to split up into group reads in a classroom. Maybe a read and share type of activity.
