Recommended for novices.
It's no-nonsense, unpretentious and gives sensible advice.

Tbh, it lines up pretty much with how I've been teaching knitting for the last 15 years (been knitting for over 30y)

A great reference book to have on hand while you learn to knit.

So--I'm learning to knit, using books. I've read 3 today, with the idea of buying a couple books to keep on hand as reference. This may be one of them. The illustrated directions are simpler and easier to conceptualize than the other books. And it also includes about a dozen easy patterns. It doesn't get cutesy and it doesn't presume that the reader knows anything. It's a good one.
