“Muhammad Ali: The Life Of A Boxing Hero” by Rob Shone

At the end of the eighth round, Foreman had grown tired.
“Now, it's my turn, George.”
A swift combination ended with a right cross.
After seven and a half year, Ali had won back his title. (p34)

This graphic novel is interesting (as was Ali's life) and doesn't sugarcoat (neither did Ali), and covers Ali's life very well for a fairly short book. It would be good for a reluctant read to learn some about Black History, particularly since it's part of a Black History graphic novel series. Nothing groundbreaking, but then it's a mass-produced, mass-market book.

In this book it tells the story of Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali was and still is one of the best boxers. The book is a graphic novel biography and the pictures illustrate the story really well. I like how there are few words because the pictures tell the story. The book tells us about Ali's life and what happened before, during, and after his boxing career. The book is so good, I would recommend it to anyone. The book isn't in a series but if it was I would continue reading it. All in all this is a fantastic book.
