As prelude, chapter 1 presents the experiences of the Korean community before the end of World War II. Chapter 2 to 10 deal with various aspects and issues of the current Korean Community in Los demography, work patterns, business life, family, perceived problems, college life, church life, organizations, and politics. The concluding chapter examines the status of Korean-American studies in the context of race relations paradigm. A comprehensive bibliography on Korean-American studies is appended as a reference for those students interested in Koreans in America.
