How To Heal Yourself

Rate this book
Everyone is shattered these days, and there's no one who doesn't get hurt in his life, but that doesn't mean we break our hearts every day for everyone. People give us pain, and we try to heal it. I always think when I was a little child, I was never as miserable as today as I am. Why? Because we are growing unhappiness and guilt in our minds. In the world of silence, we are broken inside with loud noise. We don't know what we really want. Some days we are exceptionally delighted, while some days we are intensely depressed. Why we aren't capable to be stable for both happiness and sadness. People can offer happiness and riches but not the healing process. Why? People think if they can live alone with ignorance then they can heal, but it's not the actual process of healing.

This book, as the title, contains advice on healing issues or "the art of calming yourself down", that's how I understand the meaning of healing itself.

Here the author describes it into 10 chapters which will offer various steps for how when we feel down and overcome it.

The author himself said that it is indeed not easy for us to maybe forget the painful things in the past even though the word sorry has been thrown out.

And here the author takes an objective point of view so that it does not seem to be patronizing which in fact fosters a new perspective when I read it.

Deepak Gupta can indeed write short but kicking sentences and that's also what I encountered here.

And maybe this book will be suitable if you are feeling down or need something to channel your healing.

Because the topic is good (and sometimes can relatable to mine), I want to give it a rating 4 out of 5 stars.
