This is a comprehensive book on optimum nutrition. I bought it because I have recently gone from being a vegetarian to being a vegan and I wanted to adjust my diet to stay as healthy as possible. I really believe we should focus on staying healthy as opposed to reacting to sickness. Four sections in the book have quizzes, and depending on the result, you may be advised to add things in to your diet or take extra supplements. I have implemented some of the recommended changes and I see an improvement in my skin. Mind you, some of the supplements suggested are horrendously expensive so I have substituted less expensive ones and I still see an improvement.

Interesting introduction into the world f a low GI diet. Lost of information and diets that seem to have a positive impact in my own life. Lowering my intake of wheat and other high GL foods. The kind of diet that my other half has been following for sometime.

Another output from the Holford production line/publicity machine. This is a quick, easy read that summarises some interesting (but unsurprising) statistical data about overall health and how to attain and maintain it.
