Across the mile, you have a company that she feels what you feel from a woman whose pain and happiness reflects through her thoughts, written and shared within this book.
I love hearing from you. You can connect with me through my Facebook page Ma. Lowela Becaro-poetess and my Instagram account @swesuny_intoherheartpoetry. I'm happy to tell you that all the photos used in this book were personally taken by myself.
Ma. Lowela Tondo Becaro is a Filipino author, an introverted empath who loves to write poetry or penning down her emotions. She is a nurse, a bookworm and an artist for quite some time.
I love this book, easy to read and you can feel what she's trying to tell, it's like reading her emotions in the entire book. Thank you for sending a copy of this book, its an honor to read your works, love your prose.
Ms. Lowela is one of those few people na kahit di mo pa personal na nakilala (we've met through the Fully Booked's Bookworm Corner Page in 2019), naramdaman mo na yung sincerity nya through her literary ventures.
This collection of poems, which I've read in one sitting, is where all of Ms. Lowela's thoughts about life comes from. It's like a representation of her persona that is also within us, but we don't get to notice that sometimes.
I've read this book at a time when my anxiety attacked again. It was also that time when I was tested Covid-19 positive and had to self-isolate for a week. My eyes were literally open pero lahat ng nakikita ko tila blanko...figuratively. I was also dealing with a breakup that I'm not yet comfortable to talk a lot for now. Grabe, everything was fvcked up. And it's the first hurrah of 2022.
Nevertheless, I finished this small but significant book with a glimmer of hope and realizations. Coming from a promising voice with a strong dedication to her church, this book can save your life more than that A.M Homes' book.
Brilliant job to you, Ms. Lowella. Bihira na lang ang mga taong kagaya mo. May the Almighty bless you with more talent and wisdom. Thank you for sharing this book at a time when I almost made it to a point of not knowing myself anymore.
I met Lowela on Instagram, where she belongs to the poetry community. She is a lovely woman and writes from the deepest parts of her heart . There is no surprise, therefore , that this book follows that path . Grief comes in many forms in life , but the worst grief is the pain inflicted by the people we love . This comes through loud and clear in the thoughts , phrases and poems presented here . And though we suffer at times , I think the final message is hope. And that we all hope for the happy ending , both in love and in life . ❤️
Got ARC! Such a wonderful work of art through words! I encourage you to take awhile and explore the pages of her life that creates bond between emotions and thoughts!
I have known Lowela through Instagram for a couple of years now, and I was honored to read her book.
This book is a compilation of short poems. As you read the poems, you can clearly feel her entire heart and soul are in every word. It is what makes it personal!
Because the poems are easy to read, it is a book that you keep reading. Like a coffee table book that you pick up and put down, only to pick it u again.
The feeling portrayed are feeling you will recognise from your own life! Wheter it are feelings you have now, or had long ago, you will find yourself back in the pages of this book.
I love the setup of the chapters, which made the book also feel like a story. As if Lowela took me with her on her own life journey. This personal touch makes the book stand out!
In short, grab a copy of this book, and read it! You won't be disappointed!
