Warrior Women #1
Warrior Women: The Rise of the Shadow
They created a society based only on female virtues. They gave no quarter and took none. They were relentless and Spartan in their battlefield exploits. They were feared in the male dominated world, and their name was that of legends. They were the Amazon Women of southern Ukraine. However, one name out of them all sent a chill down the spines of even the fiercest of warriors. She was seductive and ruthless. Some believed she was just a myth, a fable to scare young children. But those who experienced her strength and veracity knew that she was a force of darkness and retribution.
She brought both passion and vengeance. She practiced reprisal, both in the bedroom and on the field. If she came for you, one way or the other, your life was over. Her given name was Deianeira, and she was known as The Shadow, and this, is her story...

This is an excellent story.
The problem with this book is not the telling of the tale. The author failed to edit the text properly. That could be accomplished by self editing or hired to a third party. Either way it would improve the book not to occasionally be required to guess what the author meant to say.

Quick read and Interesting story but desperately needing editing. It also seemed to have repetitive scenarios involving the women, which felt like filler after the first few times.

A reasonably good story, if one that ended a bit abruptly, but the author desperately needs a good editor. Misplaced commas - both missing from where they should be, and in many places where they should be - as well as incorrectly used past tenses, make this story hard to read. The author’s use of italics as well as quotation marks makes dialogue hard to read and follow, and the formatting of dialogue is often incorrect. The book starts with chapters told from the point of view of multiple characters, but after the first few chapters the remainder is told solely from the viewpoint of the main character, which was a bit confusing; I kept expecting to return to the other characters, but it never happened. A good premise and a reasonable plot, but with some odd digressions. Overall, it was enough to keep me occupied on a plane, and was ultimately worth what I paid for it (it was free).
